Philly Sound

I love music....Music that lifts you. Sounds that take your mind out of reality. Giving you the power to step into the lines of your book of Dreams. For me, many ambient musical artists, classics, meditative sounds and or Nature itself moves me. I feel that nowadays to hear a great song, record, lyrics, or sound I have to dig back into my 90's early 2000' Faves. MJ, Moby, Sade, Alicia Keys, Janet, IIO, Aaliyah, Zero7, Portishead the list can go on and on.
As far as Hip Hop and R&B the music and some Artists of today; are not appealing to me.
I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a "Pop Artists" Song. I Pay attention to Lyrics and never been the type of person that FOLLOWS THE TRENDS OR "WHAT'S HOT" ACCORDING TO THE MEDIA.
I believe that Words Like Water, purify our Mind & nurture our Soul. And since I don't brake my OWN Suannism Principles, Unless your a conscious Hip Hop Artist/Messenger/Prophet Like (Tupac, Nas, Common, Atmosphere, Mos Def Etc).
I'm not listening to your "Feel Good" wrapped up in subliminal messages anthem. You're going to have to Excuse my OPINION (I Repeat: MY OPINION). Nonetheless There are Many Inspiring Creators and Performers.
I commend the Freedom Writers and Artistic Visionaries. Always be conscious that Our Mind and Spirit is Emotion Driven. What you Listen to is what you Live by. Adele, Your Voice lifts my Soul and It's remarkable beings like her and Artist Gilbere Forte' that inspire me to keep life Pure and Strong. Thank You for blessing us with your gift.
